360 app.  my daughter pauses it.360 app. my daughter pauses it. Is there a way to stop her from doing that? Without beating her?

I don’t think soBrandon turns his location off randomly but then I call him and yell at him to turn it back on!

I tell my son when he pauses it he’s paying his phone bill. $82. Taking his car really punishes me, but making him pay the phone bill is not something he wants on top of the insurance he’s already responsible for ‍♀️

Somehow my son had his showing he was at home. I thought he forgot his phone until I called him and then all hell broke loose. I never did figure out how he did that but he won’t do it again or he gets my mini van and I get his Malibu.  and he’ll probably be grounded for life.

I told my kids if they turn it off they lose their cell phone and all going out privileges. Thankfully my son never tested me and so far so good on my daughter!

When my teens turn it off, i text them asap and they have to turn it on right away or they lose their phones and cant go out for a week.

If you have iPhones you can make them share their location indefinitely with you and check their location. If they stop sharing it with you, you’ll know and can punish accordingly and there’s no way to hack it.

@undies go on your kids phone. Go to the texting thread between the two of you. Hit info on top area. Hit share indefinitely. Then on your phone go to your thread between you and child. Hit info and it shows a map in I maps. In the text info. Does that make sense? Also you can do family and link Apple ID. So their Apple ID is In a Family with yours. So even if they turn it off you can go through there and find their iPhone.

@undies so you can be the organizer, your spouse or their other parent etc can be a parent, and they are left as a family member but not able to change certain things.

But you don’t have to do the family thing to do location. It’s just backup in my case bc I’m paranoid and anxious about my kids safety lol.

@undies lol. It’s so hard to be parents as they get older. I mean it when I tell people to enjoy them being little because honestly it’s harder and scarier the older they get haha. Independence is scary. Healthy but scary. Lol.

With verizon, there is an option to temporarily disconnect the phone and that's what I do
