Thinking. Wesley chapel, Sarasota, Tampa. Anyone absolutely LOVE any place in particular? I have 2 boys ages 4 and 6 and a big breed dog

We’re moving to north port. Wesley chapel has a lot of deed restriction subdivisions, Tampa has bad areas, Sarasota is ridiculously over priced

My sister lives in North Port! She moved there from Joliet almost 2 years ago and LOVES it there.

@lanettelaney14 We live in a deed restricted subdivision. Many of the houses are sitting because they overpriced them. Ours has gone up about $10, 000 in 2 years.

@treasonable9 I see that. Where in north port are you? We are trying to avoid deed restrictions. We may rent and then build. Not liking anything I’m seeing for sale

I lived in Florida for 10 years. Just outside of Tampa. Is not a good place for kids. I recommend Sarasota. I have heard good things about Wesley Chapel as well.

We lived in the Riverview/ Brandon area. It’s a master planned community called Fishhawk.

Moving to lutz, west Cheval. 8-10 school ratings. 20 min to airport.

Sarasota is beautiful and a nice family area. Have a friend there now. You have Mote Aquarium and Ringling museum and lots of other family fun things to do. But the beaches are some of the best with beautiful white sand.

I lived in St Augustine for 5 years and every day I wish I could move back!

@love71 my boyfriend says Naples is the most beautiful, amazing, safe place of FL. he would die of happiness if we moved there. His ex that’s to this day (8 years later) still insane about him lives there though and I’m not trying to do all that. lol

We moved to Florida from Plainfield to North Port (near Sarasota) in 2018. It is inland, but within 30 minutes to beaches. There are a lot of people from Illinois here.

Dunedin is very cute town, palm harbor also. Not sure if i would live in Florida again tho. Just my opinion with having to work and not getting paid u would up here. My husband make almost 30 am hour up here with insurance and pension. Not apt of places hVe that down there

We moved to St Johns Florida (Jacksonville suburb) last April. I would compare it to Naperville or Wheaton. We love it and will never move back. Our county is the #1 school district in the state. We still get seasons which is nice so it gets chilly but not so cold I don’t want to go outside ☺️

We moved from Plainfield to palm harbor July of 2018. We have 2 teenagers. It was rough at first but we all love it here. Very close to beaches. You do have to be very careful where you move. It is nothing like the suburbs of Chicago. I am happy to help anyway I can.

My dad lives in Sarasota and we try to go down every month or so. He used to live outside Tampa. Tampa has more options. If you’re thinking about family coming to visit or you guys flying back to visit family, the Sarasota airport flights are always outrageous but Tampa is always cheap.

Girl I moved to Wesley chapel it’s amazing it’s like Naperville only smaller. Very clean and lots of shops, food places close to Tampa.

We visit Sarasota every year and absolutely love it. Our plan is to move there when my step daughter graduates high school. What I love best about that area is the diversity — love to walk around Bayfront Park, go to St. Armands for shopping and lunch, tons of fishing, great food, it can be quiet and relaxing or you can have a great night of drinks and fun in Siesta Key, awesome beaches everywhere, can’t wait to go back!

I go every year. westchase which is a neighborhood in tampa has very good schools, very kid friendly very clean. Beautiful area
