Question

Does anyone have an insight on how an appraisal works? We are looking to move soon and are wondering if we should get the house appraised first or if that’s a requirement or how it all works. Thanks moms!

I’m an appraiser. You can get an appraisal done today know what it’s worth to know what to ask for. Otherwise a realtor can do a cma to give you an idea of what homes are selling for. When you do get a contract an appraisal will be done on the buyers end
