Corona virus impacting childcare!  Now that schools are closed, what’s your action plan for child care?Corona virus impacting childcare! Now that schools are closed, what’s your action plan for child care? Are you going to attempt to balance working from home with caring for your child?  Is relying on a family member for childcare an ideal solution for your family?  You may want to think about your options while there are still daycares with availability. If you’re concerned about the possibility of commercial daycare centers closing or not having openings in the days to come, you might want to look into licensed home daycares. Me and several other home daycare providers currently have openings and might be your saving grace over the next few weeks. We’re trained professionals who understand early childhood development. Placing your child in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment will alleviate some of the stress you’re experiencing as we face the unknown. Because children are emotionally in tune with their environment, your preparedness is important and the way you handle this situation will have a lasting impact on your child and how they respond to unexpected situations.
