Easter basket ideas for an almost 2 1/2 year old girl? We already have all the typical outdoor stuff like chalk, bubbles. I am probably going to buy a book and some stickers, but does anyone have anything on the more unique side?

@cannae3 Oooooh the pretend makeup would be perfect. She got a Disney Princess dress up trunk for Christmas and has been talking about putting on makeup lately

@sunn5 this brand is just pretend, no actual color comes off or anything, but it’s very cute! There is a brand on amazon that’s safe play makeup for kids though. I’ll see if I can find it!

Are you potty trained yet? A potty would be cute full of undies, potty books, flushable wipes, and other potty training incentives!

@harrisharrisburg she is not fully trained, but we have been using our potty seats for quite a long time. That could be a great idea to really encourage her. I already have the undies, never opened.

I grew up in Florida, but our tradition was to always get our new swim suits, summer shoes, beach towel, pool /beach toys. etc. my kids get their new swim suits and we do these shoes because they are great for parks and splash stations. great summer shoes.

@macdermot I think that is where I am leaning. She has never been in a pool and we are going to South Carolina for a family wedding in June, and they have one.

I don’t know if this is allowed so you can delete if necessary but my sister runs a bargains page with awesome kids deals. Check it out! Search up Bargains Bows and Beaus.

I always pick a theme and it makes it easier. We try to pick something that we might do more of in the summer or something she is interested in right then. We have done baking, beach and aquarium stuff, camping, dress up or as she got older, nails and makeup and stuff, all monkey, and this year will be a bunch of soccer things.

Crayola has some fun looking coloring sets that are different. Even their dry erase sets look fun
