Question

In the process of major spring cleaning. It doesn’t appear Goodwill is open for donations. Any other options for drop offs?

Amvets will do a pick up. They are in our area on May 26th.

The village in chanahon is having a kids clothing drop off starting the 15th

I’m pretty sure they are open, I’ve seen people there both weekends when we shop at Meijer.

@john Unfortunately people are still dropping items off outside of the building despite there being signs asking not to.

@limbate33711 but what I’m saying is that someone is picking it up or doing something with it because Saturday there was stuff, and Sunday it was completely empty.

A friend of mine, her husband is a manager of a Goodwill. He has to go twice a day to bring stuff in because people are just leaving stuff there. They are CLOSED. Not accepting donations.

Join buy nothing fb group for your area.

There are drop-off bins outside of the Goodwill in Joliet by the mall for you to drop items in.

I just scheduled an amvets pickup for june 9th. Wish it was sooner, but better than nothing.
