We know we are going to need to replace our sump pump. What is the absolute best sump and where did you buy it?

My husband is a plumber he said Zoeller pumps. They are the best out there and only can purchase them at a plumbing supply house. Retail box store items are not even equivalent to the quality that is built in a zoeller.

We also have a Zoeller and a separate battery back that runs independently of the water get too high. It kept up with all the water today. Unfortunately our window well didn’t though.

We just swapped out our sump last year for a 1/2 HP Metropolitan stainless steel pump with a warranty and it’s been keeping up much better than our old sump.

We have a Wayne sump pump that is actually 2 pumps, 1 with a battery up. It has saved us a couple times already and before this pump we flooded. Tonight, we were a couple inches from the water going over and that was with both pumps going!

My husband is a plumber. We have sump pumps on hand right now. For specific ones, you can always give him a call to discuss. We own Leipart Heating & Cooling but do plumbing as well as HVAC. If we can be of any help, you can contact us at 708-243-6706. My husbands name is Jim.

Not sure about brand, but a Backup Battery is a must! We have a watchdog.

When we replaced ours, we put in a system with two primary pumps and a backup. Marine battery backup. WiFi connectivity with alerts sent to us and the installer. And a LOUD alarm.

Get a pressure activated pump. The ones with the float do not last long. 7 years for the pressure activated pump and only 2 years for the pump with the float.
