Hey Mamas- does anyone have any recommendations on Youth cheer in the area? We just moved here late last year and our 10 year old is looking to get back into a cheer program for this 20-21 school year(covid depending). From my web browsing, I’ve seen Plainfield Jr Cats and Plainfield Saints. Any feedback is greatly appreciated

The Tri-City Wolverines are fantastic! The girls have so much fun! And the organization as a whole is like your extended family

It depends what kind of cheer you are looking for. Team Illinois, all star cheer in general, is much different than the Saints or Wolverines. My daughter has been on the Saints for 4 years. I also assistant coach with them.

@partain do you mind explaining what the different is between them? I’m new to cheer and my 5 year old is interested

@partain we’re looking for more recreational cheer. Preferably a team that practices 2-3x per week and offers competitions as well
