Delivering in 1 month at Edward . does anyone know what formula they give if formula feeding from beginning?! With my daughter I supplemented and they gave enfamil gentlease . was curious do they just use enfamil products? Just curious! Thanks!

That’s what they gave when I was there 2 yrs ago. But I’m sure you can always bring your own if you have a specific one you want to use.

@turkish yah it’s been 2. 5 years since I delivered there last . this time I’m strictly formula feeding so I was curious if they had options or not . thanks!

When I delivered there a year and a half ago they gave the option of Enfamil or Similac.

I delivered at Edwards almost a year ago & they asked me ahead of time if I was planning on nursing or formula and asked which formula I’d like. We used enfamil gentle ease :)

@frankel when I registered it asked if I was formula or nursing and I checked formula but they didn’t ask brand

I delivered almost 2 years ago and they gave us similac at the time

I believe they have enfamil and similac. i had to supplement for my daughter when we were there and they asked us which one we preferred

They offered me Enfamil and Similac, but they also have Gerber Good Start. I think you may need to ask if you want a specific one. I delivered twice there and I think once they asked and once they just brought Similac.

I delivered 2 months ago and had to supplement during our stay with formula. They gave me enfamil neuro pro.

I just delivered there 3 months ago, they have enfamil and similac and let you choose. Edwards staff was amazing! I loved the nurses. Congrats and good luck!

I delivered in July 2019 and they gave us the option of Enfamil or Similac and then options of those, regular and gentle.

I delivered 2 years ago and they gave me the Enfamil Newborn (light blue) didn't give any options. Nice to see they have options now. I ended up supplementing with Similac.

@norton I'm due in 3 weeks and delivering at Edward's as well. curious if they made you wear a mask while in labor? I've seen some vlogs on YouTube recently and they had to wear a mask but I don't think it was in Illinois. Also, are they still letting 1 support person in the room?

@norton you’ll have to wear a mask at all times the nurses and doctors are present. Cesarean or labor. You will also have to wear it in mother baby when others beside you and your support partner are present.

Yes I had to wear a mask unless it was just my boyfriend and I in the room. I had it on while I was pushing and truthfully didn’t even notice but I delivered quick. My boyfriend was able to be there the whole time.

They let me choose. Also I highly recommend utilizing the nursery at night so you can sleep! It made a world of difference for us once we got home!

Delivered at Edwards April 8th and they gave us enfamil, but they did give us the option between enfamil and similac and being a ftm, I don’t know the difference between the two, so I just told our nurse to choose and she chose the enfamil. sssooo, I think you have a choice, if you want
