Question, if the ring flood light activates from motion should it alert you and start recording? Sometime the light activates, but nothing in history that has recorded

The motion sensor for the light is different. It’s light is activated like a normal motion sensor. The camera is set off by movement across the picture

@floozy adding to Jerry’s comment, these attributes are set in the app. There is a motion zone specific to the camera (more defined/surgical) and another “light” motion zone where you can increase or decrease the range of motion detection which triggers the light. Works great!
