Best answer
The battery on our outside camera drains much faster in the cold weather. We have a second battery that we keep charged so we just swap them out when needed.

If you have the battery option going I highly suggest having a 2nd battery that way one can be charging/charged when the 1st one needs to be charged. There won’t be a lapse in recordings etc.

Nope I have 2 batteries in there only need to charge every couple months. Might be it’s going off too much tilt away from the road if there is one
