Question

I have a Stickup Cam I never used until recently and don’t know what’s normal for them. Wondering why it won’t stay in color mode at night. I have it sitting next to a landscape light in a flowerbed and when I first set it up after dark it’s in color, then a few minutes later it switches to night vision / black & white. I reset it and it’s in color, then switches again. Any suggestions? Thanks

Probably because night vision is made for dark, and it doesn’t get enough light to stay in color mode and automatically switches to NV.

@devindevina but if it has enough light to be in color in the first place, and the light source doesn’t change, why would it switch?

Good question- other possibility would be that it’s connected to internet so it knows it’s night now.
