What is the best way to grab a frame/picture off a ring video? I need a closeup of a face.

@gastrotrich I tried snapshot feature. But it doesn’t seem to grap a screen shot

@biannual not that feature . I found it useless and turned it off. Use your phone instead. For example look at the video on your phone through the ring app. Then if you have an iPhone you use the home button and side button simultaneously to screen shot.

You can also zoom in a bit if you like before screen shot . just know it will be a bit grainy if you do. give it a try. hope you get what you need. a friend and I did this to do the same and capture a closer face shot of a thief on our cameras

@gastrotrich Thanks. I tried that. I was trying to capture a close-up of my dogs face when She realized she was face-to-face with a bear and not another dog.

Captain peering back along side of house where she ran into the bear. She quickly bolts from this position when she says to herself, I got to get out of here!
