Does anyone have the ring pathway lights? If so, how are they? I live in Illinois and I am concerned about the plastic construction with weather extremes. Looking into some smart landscape lighting options.

I have 4 pathway lights (2 battery, 2 solar) and I'm in Iowa. They held up fine throughout this last winter. The solar ones I have in the front of my house that faces south and does great as far as keeping battery strength up. The battery lights do not maintain the battery life that Ring touts but they're not bad, not nearly as bad as the step lights!

PS. They really are nice looking and brighter than I expected. I would recommend them!

This one? So far so good. Runs on D sized batteries.

I have had mine since March of last year and still all on original batteries worked fine all winter long in cold Michigan weather

I have had 8 installed in NY since January with a cold winter, they’re doing fine for the most part. Biggest two issues are a couple of them drop offline for no reason and have to be reset and reconnected in the app, and wind moving bushes and flag triggers motion sensor and turns lights on often.

I have four in Michigan and they had no issues this winter. I’d say the batteries lasted 6 months. I want to add more and am debating between the battery and solar. Worried the solar isn’t as bright and lack of sun here in the winter.

@clad67783 we had the sun issue with some regular solar lights here. Some just didn’t turn on randomly. I will probably go with the battery powered ring lights for that reason.
