My STICK UP CAM worked fine for first 2 days then was unresponsive. Reset it. 5 days later it can do live view but will NOT record motion. I cycled settings, power etc. It is still doing the snapshots every 3 minutes just fine. Is it worth troubleshooting with Ring support? Or just return it under the 30 day policy. Any tips?

Try factory resetting it. I had a similar situation with one of my spotlight cams last year. It has worked fine since.

@nishanishi I was going to do that, but 2x in 2 weeks , having to climb a ladder to do it, is not very inspiring

@baltazar sorry I missed that part! I would exchange it then. It definitely sucks having to keep getting the ladder out. I have two cams that are accessible from windows upstairs, but the one that gave me issues wasn't one of them of course!
