Thanks, but I don't mean number of motions, I mean length of time, for instance I just watched a car pull up to my house, guy gets out looks at my house and that's it's motion stopped, yhanks

Like I said, My powered ring floodlight, makes a 2nd recording in that situation It depends on your device, battery devices try to balance battery life with motion recording

Depends on the model and power source usually but a powered device like my flood cam just makes another recording if the motion continues Also check Motion Sensitivity in the Motion Settings section to increase the # of motions to receive

Only if you live view the notification. A wired camera recording can be up to 10 minutes.

My videos are about 10 seconds?

@harebrained59241 Go to motion settings for that camera and under motion frequency set that to frequent. Will decrease battery life but will prevent the device from “sleeping” after a motion event which causes it to not check for motion for a short time to save battery life. This way it’ll still be a short video but will at least have the whole thing on multiple videos. Also make sure motion verification isn’t enabled as I feel it’s super inaccurate and cuts the videos even shorter. Also check device settings if your battery device lets you adjust the length to max of 30 seconds which is better than 10. Some battery devices you can. Good luck.
