Send links to GMB or send to website location page? Seems like few businesses would be naturally getting links to their GMB as most people don't know how to pull their direct GMB URL. Therefore spam? Thoughts?

Both. Best thing about GMBs is they are DA 100/Google properties so they pass juice like nobody's business and you can't penalize them.

What he said! Remember GMB has a DA of 100. Old school tactics still apply!

I've never linked to the GMB page, ever, and my clients (attorneys) are enjoying very good rankings right now. My links go to the services pages and home page, or whatever page is ranking for a given keyword (I use ahrefs to see). I do use local schema on the websites, even entering multiple location schemas on a single page, and all is well. However, I do send map embeds and such to the GMB.

A good rule of thumb is to always build links to properties you own. For linking to GMB, use public Google properties. Free and effective.

Isn't there a share button on all GMB's?

Google has a lot of properties you can use as buffers and they all pass juice!
