Ahrefs seems to be having issues. Reporting inaccurate losses. Thoughts?

I should add context that this isn't specific to this instance, and across many web properties. Perceived the trend to be more than a one-off.

Noticed this today for a site and it panicked me until I manually checked rankings.

@nonrecognition76 same for me and next moment I checked GSC if there’s any manual action. But, it was only Ahrefs inaccurate tracking.

Ahrefs shows a lot of things inaccurate. Maybe at the time their Crawler check it you would have lost it and then regained. It doesn't work in real time

Yes 100% my ahrefs shows massive decline in last couple months but analytics shows no such loss in fact an increase - when i dug deeper ahrefs was claiming losses of postioning on keywords and image ranks but when i manually checked they were all there which is giving a false traffic drop!

I have several clients who have significant image carousel rankings and Ahrefs is showing virtually all of them to be losses over the last 45 days.

Me too, the last couple days, my rankings are there but Ahrefs said the oposite.

That's because of hte featured snippets i think. It doesn't recognize them yet.

Yes, noticed that as well. Actual traffic went up while Ahrefs shows 25% loss in the last week.

There is a 30-60 day lag on some of ahrefs position and traffic reporting

I am seeing this as well over the last couple of days. I'm showing drops of over 1M which is insane but the rankings I supposedly lost is still there. So IDK

Yup been pretty far off a while now. slow to pickup links, showing a lot of dropped domains that are not, limited keyword data etc. still my main tool tho. just using historical data as a bigger variable to value as of late.

Ahrefs has been drinking and drove off the cliff. I'm sure they are fixing the issue

My thoughts are: damn, those are some big keywords to rank for!
