I didn't watch the video, but the whole semantic thing has been misrepresented for a long, long time. Like, a semantic SEO might say that a link from a Thai recipe site is a good match for a Thai travel site, because they are "semantically" related because they both have the word "Thai" in them. Someone I was on a conference panel with said this. My face turned red.
