Launching e-commerce requires too much investment , time and lots of niche research first pic up that product which are famous in your country which you buy and sell easily. Pick up that product which is Known for everyone. Moreover launching single category is just madness you need to have loads of category to launch ecommerce website. According to my experience you need to work atleast one year inorder to get good results. Everything should be up to date right from Seo To Website building and Its Technical things.

How much are you spending to generate that much revenue and what are your margins? Revenue doesn't matter if you're operating at a loss.

Number one step, find your customer base, then ask them. If you focus on what you want to sell first, you’ll have a much tougher time succeeding. Find a real need, serve customers in a real way, give them the results they wany want (product) and then get the results you want (sales)! Oh, and make sure it’s a niche you can rank well in that’s not already saturated.
The Search Engine Optimization Group is where you can always find questions, answers, advice, reviews & recommendations from other community members about better strategy on ranking highly for search engine results.
