"Why should someone link for our site. " Because they like it and want to share it with other people?

@narcotize how will they like it if they won't see it as a new website with low authority as a startup And if they like it it's easier for them to share it on social media And rarley to make a blog post for my site

"how will they like it if they won't see it as a new website with low authority as a startup" Why are you convinced no one will see a new site? I've launched plenty of new sites over the last 22 years. People find them. It's what they find on the sites that matters most.

@narcotize Okey great that's a helpful answer to me I hope it works to me too

@autogiro Practice makes perfect. But it helps to have faith in what you're doing. If you don't take the content you create seriously no one else will, either.

@narcotize i actually don't have source to write from as an E-Commerce website I'll create a blog as a subdomain With product reveiw and product comparison And that's okey But when it comes to writing according to the buyer persona I need to search about sources Or i'll be relaying on rephrazing topics that exists already making sure it's not duplicated to google

@autogiro ecommerce is always a tough nut to crack because there are so many people competing over similar products. Before adding a blog to the site, can you add content to the product pages? Answering consumer questions is a great way to add value to product pages. You don't have to do everything at once. Just pick popular, profitable items and work with them.

@narcotize well actually yes I added product info and description Also i added like an article for category pages with seo factors to rank with category pages But still my team faces the difficulty of getting more words Words actually between 200 - 500 words It's okey when it's organized and got value But i think 1k - 2k article is more useful to the site and i left that for the blog

@narcotize i was focusing in general at all products but that's a good idea to focus on specific product with a high impact

We did more guest posting than ever -- and permitted more guest posts on our site than ever, which seems to be what that penalty is about -- throughout 2019. It didn't really seem to help us, and it possibly hurt us. At the end of the day, they're manufactured links, not true recommendations of one's content, so why should search engines respect them?

I never did it and didn't recommend it. The only issue I have is that guest posting was considered "safe" now Google has moved the goal posts (again).

Google has had problems with guest posting for links at least going back to 2013. Matt Cutts told everyone to "stick a fork in it" in January 2014. .

I don't know how I feel about this, I understand their logic, but don't necessarily think it's always a bad thing. I'm in the pet niche, what if I find a veterinary oncologist to write a post? I get the ones that are peppered with links are spammy as hell, but I don't think all guest posts are bad. I wonder what is next though? I had a vet ask to write guest posts for me and I said 'no', but instead asked if he'd review/fact check my medical articles, and for the ones he has, it will say 'reviewed by Dr Joe Bloggs of J Bloggs Vet Practice, with a link to his site.
