How do you display a big number on websites? (E. g: 35 years experience) I know you can make it count up, but do you know if any other ways? Thanks in advance.

@impolitic seo did start before Google. It was just very different then. Basically adding your website to directories

@nguyen SEO is search engine optimization, not directory submission.

@impolitic but some of the early search engines all you needed to do was submit your domain.

35 years’ [apostrophe] experience. 35 years [no apostrophe] of experience. Proofreader, copy editor. Trust me. There’s an apostrophe denoting possessive for “experience. ” Little-known rule. I agree with Justin, though, because otherwise you have to update it every year.

Can you not just use a little piece of Java like they do the copyright footers that change every year?
by (4.2k points)
@punchball59914 javascript. Java does not run on websites. Javascript ! = Java.

@deathly they'll understand what I mean hopefully lol

Brent, glad you said it. Was about to slap  @punchball59914 for this indiscretion.

I usually see it as php and it might be slightly more efficient server side with php vs javascript.

@frottage you couldn't reach fella!

@emoryemote64 You might be right mate but I have seen it done with a little JavaScript snippet in the footer. However I would assume you might be right.

Christopher, no need for JS. Can just use PHP.
