Yes, awful to deal with. They setup a GMB page for a client of mine and were charging them for each call that came through the page via the tracking number they used. Then came the challenge of wrestling the domain and GMB control away from them when I advised my client they were being ripped off.

Wonder why they keep changing the name? That should tell you all you need to know. Run!

What are you looking at doing with them? If you can get your biz listed with them, they're good for that.

They’re scum. I’m trying to get my client out of their contract with them. So far I’ve gotten Dex to refund my client $12, 000, negotiating an additional $140, 000 refund. The main reason I posted this here though is because Dex is holding my client’s website and domain hostage, which I normally wouldn’t care about, but there are a decent amount of strong backlinks to the site and I’d like to keep that authority if possible. Any suggestions?

They wouldn’t hand over the domain or gmb so we had to take them by force for a client. They also created 3 duplicate gmbs which are still causing us issues 6 months later because google accidentally reinstated them. They also built 0 links, and did no onpage changes whatsoever after 3 months of service
