We were bouncing around from 1 to 10 over the past two months. Ranked #1 for 3 days then fall out for a few days. This kept repeating until a week ago when we were ranked #1. I thought things finally stabilized after no changes for a week until I woke up this morning to see we had once again fallen out of the top. This is a long term client whose site is about 15 years old, 150 google reviews, loads extremely fast, around 600 pages indexed by google.

Sorry to hear that David. I've been putting this in a few groups. I've got an attorney mastermind later. I'll post here if I find some type of pattern.

I'm aware. I'm interested in what people are actually experiencing. There have been many updates in the past where people don't see anything in their niches. This one has moved a lot of local listings around.

Not even local, our international rankings have been badly hit, from Position 6-7 to Page 3-4

Sorry to hear that @gwyn. Very interesting. I'm seeing organic at the same or higher, but local maps are all over the place. What niche are you in?

Linkedin has been partially deindexed, so that's going to have a major impact also.

Seems like the LinkedIn effect is limited to the name of a particular person. LinkedIn doesn't rank for anything meaningful other than a person's name or a company name?

Google is definitely moving much more towards content that answers the questions of the user, plus more niche specific backlinks.

@andrien62209 me too! And specifically big google dance in the local map gmbs for legal niche specifically. First looked like a bug and client disappeared. Then bounced back into top positions like normal for about 5 days. Then starting two days ago bam, deranked again down 10 spots or more and massive keyword spam listings ruling. Meanwhile amazing organic rankings holding steady.

@implicative945 some of the results are roughly the same. My internal service pages got a huge boost and my competitor got his thrown down. I hope that will last :) does anyone have any insight on the current gmb loophole?

Things are still moving around a lot. Of my one "loser", it just shot to the top of local for all of its city-practice area-lawyer/attorney terms. Check your rankings in the legal niche. May be temporary. Only time will tell.
