Question

Has anyone purchased the new eufycam 2c? If so what's the experience been like and how does the new power base compare to the older model? Thanks in advance

I moved from Arlo Pro to the Eufycam 2C and couldn't be happier. The connection is much more reliable than arlo's was, and the battery life does seem overall better. I can't comment on the newer Arlo, but the time it took to show the feed and the fact that 3/5 attempts would fail after trying for 15-20 seconds wasn't very impressive. Eufy generally picks right up. Its worth noting that the Arlo equipment waa the original Arlo pro, and not one of the revisions.

I run multiple EufyCam2 and 2C and love them both. I started with the EufyCam 2 in November and then added 4 of the 2C only because they are much cheaper than the EufyCam 2. One thing that EufyCam doesn’t do well is make it clear the difference between the models. EufyCam, EufyCam 2, EufyCam 2C, and EufyCam E. The highest level is EufyCam, apple compatible with one year battery is EufyCam 2, and EufyCam 2C is 180 day battery with a spot light. All but the original EufyCam E run virtually the same base station. I love mine. Let me know if you have any specific question. I did a TON of research on battery operated cameras from all major manufacturers and have watched hours of reviews before I made a decision. Here is a link to a great reviewer of cameras. His voice annoyed me at first but I love how he sets up his tests and does side by side comparisons. He tests most of the major brands and EufyCam kicks the crud out of all of them.
