So question for the group. I have Echos through out the house and a show in my office which I am thinking I may add another to the kitchen. I am planning to get a ring doorbell and door locks which I want to be able to see on the show. So is that possible? Second I am planning to get a smart thermostat which option should I go with in this configuration. I planning to replace all the light switches with insteon and putting a hub in but I do plan to only use insteon so all the lights work in a single system. Looking for feed back and thoughts on where I could do things better.
So question for the group.

Yes as long as your camera is compatible with your echo show.

Also for thermostat I’d go with ecobee, nest was my go to but google kinda ended all that.

Thanks will look into that. How does Ecobee work with multiple heater/AC units. I have dual zone.

Outside of that I’m a little out of my info zone, I had mine installed by amazon. So the guy explained it all super well but honestly it was to much info lol. You’re able to make it work. I always considered neat to be king but google killed almost all its support.

Nest still works with Alexa. I have 2 thermostats and 2 room temperature gauges. Works just fine

@ingeringersoll2047 yeah but there won’t be future updates and features for alexa google eventually will just drop it completely.

A new Alexa Smart device is the Alcidae Garager2 - a garage door controller/integrated surveillance camera. Found on a couple recognizable retailers website, particularly the one associated with Alexa products.

Ring doorbell works great with the Show but there’s a slight delay, which I expected. Haven’t bought the other things you’re asking about though. (Yet! )
