Question

Anyone have any success in pairing a sonoff micro? It keeps failing for me. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

My problem is they wouldn't connect with my Google wifi. That is the first time I've run into that. I ended up unplugging Google wifi and enabling the wifi radio on the router with the same credentials. Then I got them to pair. Once paired I disabled the wifi radio on the router and turned Google wifi back on.

I've seen that before - most likely it was trying to connect to the 5GHz SSID (they're the same on Google wifi). Sonoff requires 2. 4GHz - it was probably just confused.
