Yes. Look for Notifications, and within look for apps. Here you can set any sound for any app. Choose something U like. This is for Android, but I think Apple is similar

It's in the setting on your phone, not the arlo app

I don't use the alert tone as my dog caught on to the pings and would bark at the door.

@informer my dog has also gotten ARLO smart!

What phone do you have? Android provides around 20 different tones that can be applied to any app. I have Arlo, a second security system, email, two newspaper notifications, BBC World flashes, all with unique sounds. Btw Australia, not Austria!

I can't seem to set different alerts for different apps. How do you set it on your phone?

@tintinnabulum4403 OK Android phones can differ a little in the names used, but basically do the following: go to Settings then look for Notifications & Status Bar. Click on that and U should be Manage Notifications. Click on that and U should see all of your apps listed. Look for Arlo and click. Then look down the bottom and you should see Notifications. Click on that and U will see Ringtone. Select the sound U want and viola. You can set your email app and any other app the same way giving each a different sound. As I say, your phone may use slightly different terms, but Notifications is common to all Android phones.
