Is it common for the Arlo system to alert slower and slower as it gets older and older?

My only complaint is Arlo doesn’t start to record until whatever alerts it is no longer in the video. Irritating !

Sounds like a network or internet speed issue

Might not be enough. Could be the reason it’s slow. Also depends on WiFi strength too

@paucity496 put power to it and it will show 3 sec before the alert happened. Pro2 and higher

I just got off the phone with technical support yesterday about this very issue. Arlo systems are not set up to pick up motion detected straight on. The suggestion was made to move my camera which in my circumstance would make no sense and would not monitor my driveway which was what it was intended for. I wish I woulda known that before I spent $600. My system often picks up the back of my head, it always seems to record late even though my sensitivity is set at 100%.
