Help with a Arlo video doorbell installation will be greatly appreciated. Swapped out a older 12 volt transformer for a newer higher volt transformer. The voltage at the doorbell is 20 volts. Installed the part on the wired chime per the instructions. When I touch the wires on the outside of the door together the wired chime sounds appropriately. I attach the wires to the rear of the video doorbell and press it into place. I follow the installation instructions but I do not get a solid circle of white lights around the button. I do not know what I’ve done wrong? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

We had to press the button to get the white circle

After we connect the wires and followed the app directions to connect to the WiFi I pressed but didn’t hold the button. The button the went white and connected to the WiFi. We have only had ours two weeks so don’t know if our situation was an anomaly.
