Tablet screenshots: I run ST with Ring doorbells (2), but don't subscribe to the ring cloud service (privacy, cost etc). I run actiontiles on various tablets, and when there is a motion detected at any of the doors the tablet screen changes from Fully to the Ring screen to show who is there , using automateIT etc - standard set up for many of us I suspect. Is there a way that when the Ring app triggers the tablet will take a series of screenshots which I can save locally ? I cannot see a way to do it in automate it - oh and afterwards I would want to FTP the JPG to a network drive

Not available with ring. Without paying monthly for its cloud services, you're very very limited with what you can do.

Surely I can take a screenshot with ring on screen ? that's an android function, the rationale for t is not just money and privacy driven, but I also collate all the photos from the other cctv around the house to a central file store where I can view all together , back up to Google - face analysis etc.

@gio941 I know you can manually take screenshots on your phone, but automatically doing it, I'm not too sure. I had a ring doorbell at first, but when I found out I couldn't get the stream or snapshots or anything unless I paid the monthly service for it, I switched to a different doorbell (Nelly's) and I have everything I ever need from it: tapped into BI, displaying in actiontiles, video streams, motion sensing, etc.
