I’ve got one for all you smart SmartThings people! I deleted my routines and scenes for my Christmas lights and I made sure they are gone from the new app as well. But every night, for the last two weeks, all of my z-wave plugs that were part of the automation still turn on 15 minutes after sunset (like the routine told them to do). They do not shut off at 11 (like I had another routine set to do). So somehow it is still running the “Christmas lights on after sunset” routine, even though it was deleted two weeks ago. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Did you delete the routine from an Alexa device too? That may be triggering it

@woodcraft I never had Alexa triggering anything, but I did check the app, and a bunch of old routines were on there, including the Christmas lights one. I deleted the unused routines, so let’s see if that works. Lol

Did you check your "good night" routine? Occams razor.

@mader - those plugs were never a part of any good night routine. It’s triggering as if I never deleted the “Xmas lights on after sunset” routine. But they don’t turn off at 11pm like the other routine (which I deleted at the same time) was setup to do. They just stay on all the time. Until I manually turn them off on the app. Then they all turn on again after sunset the following night. It’s like SmartThings thinks the routine is still there.

Log into the IDE and see if they're really gone. Think I've had that before.

Did you check the device and see if there's something else in there causing it to run? Like the picture I've attached.

Check IDE logs

@compel thanks @compel, @kaneshakang and @mader! I checked the IDE and I don’t see any routines listed in there. I checked the logs on both the device in the app and in the IDE logs and events. It just shows it turning on at 6:11pm (which makes sense, since it was set to turn on 15 min after sunset). Then shows me turning it off at 9:23, when I discovered it was on again. Let’s see if all this poking around caused something to update. Plus I ran a z-wave repair late last night. Wait and see if they all turn on again after sunset tonight. Thanks!

Nope, they still all turned on tonight. I’m really at a loss here for what might be going on. The programming doesn’t exist anywhere. The fact that they don’t turn off at 11pm like the other routine was setup to do, is telling me that for some reason just the turn on 15 min after sunset routine program is stuck / running somewhere in the system. I can’t find it anywhere. Is this now a tech support issue? Lol

UPDATE: I googled the problem, and found someone mentioning the same issue. I didn’t realize there was a “hidden” (installed smart apps) folder under the locations tab. Great layout Smartthings!  I found the routine still listed in there and uninstalled it. What an interesting system. ‍♂️
