Issues with Actiontiles, Tinycam Pro and Wyze. I only have 4 cameras and seems that I have to reset them almost daily. Idk if I would even call it a reset. I go to my media, click on the camera. Then I select to edit the address. Sometimes it will come up right away, other times I’ll have to remove part of the IP address and enter the exact same one again. Then it comes back up. Does anyone have advise to fix this? Sometimes it will work for a day or two, other times it will work for just a few hours.

I have a similar setup, but the only issue I have is the web server switch turning off once a week or so in tinycam.

@vouchsafe12715 my web server doesn’t shut down unless I close TCP and open it back up. Sometimes that’s what it takes for the fix. Very frustrating. I just replaced my wireless router because I thought it could be the problem. $400 later, same result.

Ive tried TinyCam on a couple different Amazon tablets and find its not stable enough. Viewing the cams ON the tablet itself is fine, its the webserver. It keeps dropping cams

@edisonedit what option are you using now? I don’t think it the amazon tablet though. It doesn’t come up on a computer browser either.

@xanthous836 exactly. I see stream error messages. Even though in tiny cam appbon browser all cams are live

@xanthous836 I’ve been thinking about using an Nvidia Shield.

It took a lot of trial and error to get mine stable. I have 3 Wyze Cam Pan through TinyCam, and what seemed to help is in the ActionTiles media url I set the cams to fps=1 and compressed it like: https://<your. ip>::<yourport>/axis-cgi/mjpg/video. cgi? user=<your_uid>&pwd=<your_pw>&camera=1&fps=1&compression=50&resolution=1920x1080

Even with that I don't see the video feeds on Actiontiles working on any browser on my Android phone, but I do see them on Firefox and Chrome in Windows 10. still trying to figure out why mobile doesn't work, but I don't care too much since the main reason I set this up was to monitor my cams from my Windows machine at work.

For my TinyCam webserver I'm using an NVidia Shield, and have it set up as follows: Background Mode = On, Stream profile = MAIN, Power safe mode = OFF With this I can usually go a week or more before the web-server crashes, and I put the Shield on a smart plug so I can remote reboot it when that happens.
