I have a lot of issues with my temperature/humidity and window sensors from Xiamo which go “offline”. This problem started when I moved to a new house where I installed all my sensors to the same smarthing hub (v2) and google wifi. All my sensors where very stable in my old house so I was expecting this to work out of the box with no issues when I moved I have also seen that some of the working windows sensors react very slowly when opening or closing the windows. Does anyone know how to fix this or can recommend me low-cost alternative sensors which work directly with smartthing?

Take each sensor, place it on top of the hub. Go to the pairing section of the app and add a new device. Click the reset button on the Xiaomi device until it appears ( no need to go any further) then leave the sensor on top of the hub for 2-3 hours to stabilise before moving it back into position.

Also, I believe the IKEA outlets make for good ZigBee repeaters that work with Xiaomi ( not all repeaters do)

I’ve had really good luck with monoprice open close sensors. They don’t do temp or humidity but I originally didn’t need that or want that at my windows. But you could try reboot or rebuilding your mesh network to get better routes.

I have the same problem with Monoprice temp humidity sensors. I never know if they will be online or not at any given time.

Try adding a mains powered zwave device close to the sensors. It acts as a repeater and buffering device which improves reliability and battery life tremendously.

@gnaw38502 I think these things are zigbee not zwave.

Sorry. That was for @sepalous monoprice sensors and not the Xiaomi ones

After installing a couple of zigbee repeaters which I used before the sensors have until now been stable for 6+ hours so I hope this has solved my problem.
