ALEXA and SmartThings Water Sensor: Alexa only seems to be able to report what the temperature is at this sensor. It doesn't report on whether or not it is DRY or on the Battery level. Is there a way to get this status information?

Yes you can make Alexa announce when it is wet and/or dry. Not sure why you’d want a dry announcement. Echo Speaks makes this easy to setup.

What is your use case specifically? You could make it actively announce when it gets wet by creating a virtual contact sensor and setting up a WebCoRE automation to “open” the virtual sensor when the water sensor gets wet. Alexa routines can then announce whatever text you want when the virtual contact sensor opens.

You can write a routine for Alexa to alert you when it’s wet.

If you use WebCoRE and Echo Speaks all of this is possible. When battery levels drop below a certain trigger point you’ve selected or when a sensor changes to wet, you can have Alexa notify you. My piston also sends a notification within the ST App.

I know that from Home Assistant (HA) you can integrate it with SmartThings (ST) and control all your ST devices from there but is there a way to do the opposite.meaning that through some integration have ST control all HA capable only devices and include them on ST automations, scenes and routines?

Took the plunge and bought a new hue hub due to hitting the limit of devices on "bridge 1" Hue app is a bit rubbish at management of devices spanning two hubs, but trusty SmartThings to the rescue.
