I'm close to making a switch from another platform (I won't say which one) but I want to know the pros of smarthings? Will I have the ability to easily add/change/delete/add user codes on my schlage locks from my current system/platform? I have read there is some limitations on smarthings?

The main issue I have is I cannot achieve a simple entry / exit delay when arming and disarming. I’ve tried lots of methods including webcore and using virtual switches.

I have both. Samsung removed SHM in Classic and only offer SHTM in New.

Works fine. There's also community built apps that make it even better.

I switched from Wink to ST a while back and have no experience with anything else other than X-10 if that even counts. I will say Wink seemed a bit more polished the way things were all in one place although the reason I switched was because you can do more just not all from one place so I have automations in the Classic App, the new App, WebCore and other SmartApps (not to mention Alexa and IFTTT) Kinda the whole Apple is easier but Android can do more argument that divides my house  Yes I have 2 Schlage and 2 Kwikset locks and believe codes were a bit easier to manage in SmartThings using Smart Lock Guest Access than in Wink. In Wink managing the Schlage seemed better than the Kwikset but in ST you can't even tell which is which anymore which is nice.

Community programs and drivers. Open source(ish). There is a way to easily code your own apps, or, simple programming via WebCoRE

If you’re switching from Wink, you’ll be amazed at how much better and more powerful SmartThings is. SmartThings is an open system with a strong community and support for almost anything. WebCoRE is a game changer and is so much more powerful than anything Wink has. You have great dashboard options like ActionTiles. Face it - Wink is a dead platform with no innovation, a massive lack of device support, and no future whereas ST has a large company like Samsung behind it. I literally couldn’t even give my Wink hub away for the cost of shipping so that should tell you something.

Save yourself the trouble and switch to something local like home assistant. You wont regret it.
The SmartThings Group is where you can always find questions, answers, advice, reviews & recommendations from other community members about home automation with the Samsung SmartThings hub.
