I use the IFTTT channel to open a simulated switch, then use routines in Alexa to announce that the cycle has ended.

@bcd need to create virtual switch in ST. Then IFTTT flips that virtual switch.

Thanks @betthezel, keep meaning to reply just haven't had the chance. I installed the Alexa Simulated Switch device handler in the IDE Then created a Alexa virtual switch in IDE ( one for washer and one for dryer) Used the GE washer and GE Dryer channels in IFTTT to activate those switches when cycle completed. I then created a automation to turn off the virtual switch(s) after 1 min. Used alexa routines and when the smart switch is triggered on, announce that the (washer or dryer) cycle has ended. I might have made it harder then I needed to but it worked great for me.
