Has anyone cancelled their holiday through jet2? We were due to fly the end of August but we won't be able to go now if we have to do the two weeks isolation on arriving back in the UK with my son starting high school and me working in a school myself. Does anyone know if its just the deposit you loose (over 70 days until holiday) as I paid for the seats and meals when booked too thankyou
Has anyone cancelled their holiday through jet2?

Dont cancel, it's very very unlikely you will get there, you'll get a full refund when they cancel xxx

They paid it back in the installments I had paid in instead of one lump sum if that makes sense x

I'm with jet2 mid August, I'm waiting for them to contact me as they are contacting people in departure order to tell you your options x

Do not cancel, just wait it out and see what happens. We booked with jet 2 for 25/4-2/5 and had nothing from them until last week, full refund

I have flights booked to go Croatia August payed extras for leg room luggage etc. I'm aware these flights will be aloud to fly by then, however due to 14 day isolation when bk me and my husband won't get that time off work so wont be able to go. I have insurance but we think we will loose the money and holiday

You can change it for £100 or you will lose the deposit at this stage. To be honest, they're trying to get travel going, I don't think the reason you're giving now will be reason to cancel without a charge.

I had a holiday booked for July and only paid the deposits. Rest of money was due to be paid in April but when I spoke to them they said if I paid the amount and was unable to go they would refund the money in jet 2 vouchers except deposit or I could change the holiday to next year but had to pay they difference the same time as Iv was over £200 each to go same time next year so I just cancelled and lost deposit x

If you cancel with jet2 and it is over the 70 days before you go. You'll lose the deposit of £60pp but they will refund the rest in installments withing 5 days.

They said that no leisure flights will operate while the quarantine rules are in place. If its a high enough risk to require you to quarantine on return, then they wont let you fly for a holiday in the first place according to the travel expert that was interviewed this morning. So basically if the holiday goes ahead, the quarantine rules will have been removed anyway so you wont have to factor the extra 2 weeks in . If the quarantine is still in play when you're due to go on hol, then it will be cancelled. Its just a case of waiting to see when they lift travel restrictions unfortunately, so you probably wont know until much closer to the time if its going to go ahead, but if the only reason you're considering cancelling is due to having to quarantine on return, then that won't happen. Its probably best to wait for them to contact you so that you can either rearrange or request a full refund.

I'm booked to fly to Turkey on 11th Sept with 13 others but a few people in our group are classed as vulnerable (myself being one of them) and we don't think it would be safe or sensible travelling this year. Our balance is due the end of June. There is no way of contacting anyone from jet2 at the minute as the call centres are closed however I have a friend who works for them and her advice was either 1. wait until nearer our date of departure and change it to next year however if the call centre staff are still furloughed and you can't contact anyone you would need to pay the balance (due end of June) and then an admin fee to change the date of travel. Option 2 was take the £60 deposit hit per person to cancel and get a full refund because its more than 70 days before departure then book a new holiday pay your low deposit and when you get your refund pay it directly to the new booking. We chose option 2. Another note I'd like to make is that (off the record obviously) my friend who works on new bookings for jet2 has said that they might not operate flights until the start October from scotland and even then as a travel agent she wouldn't travel this year x
