Thinking of taking kids to London in April. Might visit the science museum as not been since they were 2 & 4. They are now 14 & 12. Wondering about the Tate Modern as well. Or Tate Britain? Has anyone been to either and which would be better? Difficult to see online which is more interesting.

Not been to the galleries, but the imperial war museum is good especially if they like history.

British Museum is quite good. We found it easier to move around. They get packed in the holidays. Imperial war museum is good as well. Have fun

Imperial War Museum is good you can check on their website what's on, exhibtions etc. I went about 12 years ago so I was about 15! Also the Churchill War Rooms would be good especially if they are doing history and the wars at school x

Did not like the Tates and my teen did not like then either. He preferred the National Army Museum to the Imperial War
