I always book summer holidays separately but for skiing I always book a package usually through crystal just find it's so much easier and by the time I've priced it all separately it's not much difference in price. If it's your first time it'll be good for you to have a rep at the resort too. So many amazing places to go to but if your going late season go for a snow sure resort with a high altitude so you'll definitely get snow. The resort really depends on what you want, nightlife, doorstep skiing, non skiing activities and depending of your skiing ability and budget. X

@wellington31 I went skiing twice while I was at school but obviously that was some time ago now. Been to a few dry slope places since. I’ll look into Crystal. Where have you been before ?

Aw that's good then! I've been to lots of resorts in France. La plagne or Morzine would probably be good for you, both high altitude, lots if non skiing activities, good nightlife/restaurant and slopes to suit all. Morzine village is a bit more charming. Also been to Italy but earlier in the season and zell em see in Austria which is amazing but snow might not be great at that time of year.

@fa16 good luck I'm sure you'll find somewhere fab! Oh and try to avoid Easter holidays if possible more expensive and slopes will be busy! x

EasyJet do cheap flights to Geneva. From There you can access lots of ski resorts in Switzerland and France. I’ve only been to Morzine but highly recommend it! It’s about an hours drive from Geneva. Really lovely alpine town, great bars and restaurants, about an hour from Chamonix so could also go there for a day. Enjoy xx

@fouquet thank you. Did you book everything separately?

@fa16 well we have family in morzine so we don’t have any accommodation but I would imagine you would be cheaper booking separately x

I’ve always booked separately but driven not flown?! We went add as large group and passed/boots/ski hire was sorted as we had friends in the resort. I think I’d do a package if I had never done it before

In Europe we’ve always booked separately. Never been that late in the season in Europe so can’t recommend a resort. Lots in North America but it is pricier
