Hey can anyone recommend a place similar to the Maldives, with a cheaper price tag? Or any diy tips on the Maldives? Flying from the UK, so Bora Bora is out the question :(

@higa299 I looked at all the usual package holiday online places and was so shocked at how cheap it was on par with a week in Europe (all inclusive package deal), I would look at booking everything yourself though as it usually is cheaper that way. Zanzibar is supposed to be very nice and similar to the Maldives but much cheaper. Mauritius is fairly similar and although still expensive it's cheaper than the Maldives

Bali is amazing and so much to do we flew from manchester with cathay pacific and booked our own hotels. Stayed in Sanur, gili t and nusa lembongan.

We’ve booked our holiday this year to Bali with Hays Travel, they were the most helpful and the cheapest by far x
