The Tour Montparnasse has great views of the Eiffel Tower (without the ugly tour montparnasse in it! ), the Père Lachaise cemetery is very cool. Wandering the streets around the sacré coeur basilica (and the church itself! ), the Sainte-chapelle stained glass is gorgeous! The musée d'Orsay is my favourite museum of all time- I didn't really like the Louvre! You can also climb the arc de triomphe which is quite cool!

Go to the top floor of Lafayette department store, seats up there, you can see for miles. It’s free. Also the opera house, it’s stunning.

We did the Eiffel Tower tour and Palace of Versailles tour - booked through Viator! A river cruise and walked round the streets of Montmartre - has great views of the city and the Sacré-Coeur

I lived in Paris for 6 months and I think just wandering around the Champs-Elysees, around the Jardin de Tuileries, along the Seine and by the Notre Dame are fab things to do. My fave area is the Latin Quarter - 5th/6th arrondissements - it’s quite bohemian and there are the cafes the writers used to frequent such as Cafe de Flore - great for people watching  Enjoy - I’m long overdue another visit xx
