Give yourself about 4 hours cuz you gonna want to scan everything for your log. Save the meal pane for another week for now. Just stock up on basics & essentials.

Find low point snacks to cure a sweet tooth. Protein one bars and sugar free jello and pudding are must haves for me. Also look for low point bread (like the sara lee delightful). For butter i use the Land O Lakes light butter with canola oil, and for milk i use either soy or oat milk. Also, get premier protein drinks (i get walmart brand because they are wayyy cheaper). I just started doing the protein drink thing a few weeks ago and i regret not doing it sooner. Tons of fruit, tons of chicken breast and fish. You can also find chicken breakfast sausage thats tasty and super low in points. Baked zucchini and squash with parmesan cheese is a great veggie side dish for dinners. But i agree with above, figure out meals later, stock up on basics and essentials for now.

Skinnytaste. com publishes weekly meal plans with recipes. I always have hard boiled eggs, canned beans (check ingredients for added sugar), boxes of chicken broth or stock, fresh spinach which I add to almost every recipe, chicken tenders or thin cut breasts, ground turkey, frozen shrimp, frozen wild caught salmon or other fish. fresh and frozen veggies. I always have bananas and other fresh fruit and natural peanut butter. Avocados. Pick a couple of recipes you want to make and buy necessary ingredients. Try to include one soup or stew. Good luck.
