Also, talk to your leader if you do meetings. When I was Thankspe 2 (I am diet and exercise-controlled now for about 8 years), they had some other suggestions for me and gave me some WW information for those with diabetes. It was very helpful!

I’d say the plan you like. I like blue or purple for my blood sugar because proteins like skinless chicken breast, eggs, and fat free yogurt are 0 points. On purple, fat free cottage cheese is also 0.

I’m also type 2 on blue. I have fruits but limit to 2 servings a day, and have with a protein like low fat greek yogurt.

Green has more Daily Points but, as you remember, only fruit and non-starchy veggies are 0pts Blue has fewer Daily Points but added to the 0pt list is chicken and turkey breast, eggs, beans, NF plain Greek yogurt corn and peas and, I believe tofu. Purple has the least Daily Points and besides everything on the Green and Blue plan, whole grains, whole grain pasta, brown rice, potatoes (white and sweet). Pick the one that seems to most fit your special dietary needs. I find Green a little more flexible in many ways because of the larger number of Daily Points you can use any way you wish. I am doing Purple because the 0pt foods fits my cardiologist recommended Mediterranean diet perfectly.
