I use my Power Air Fryer Elite faithfully every single day. I had mine over 3 years and I have cooked everything I mean everything in there. I use my oven Maybe twice a year. Definitely air fryer is the way to go. From frozen to fried in less then 20 mins and extra crispy

@bilberry @shuler222 really! What do you make in it? I got one for Christmas but I only used twice, I don’t know what to make in it

@odell everything. I have done dozens of cookies in mine at Christmas for a cookie party. Steaks are 10xs better in fryer, all my kids snacks, chicken breasts. I think I tried everything except rice and eggs. Lol

@bilberry @shuler222 really! OMG! I guess I should buy a cookbook huh! I made tostones (plantain chips) but they did not turn out good, my husband said to dry!
by (640 points)
@odell yrah I can see tostones being dry. Some foods are dryer in there bc it let's the fat/grease out like a dehydrator but I love it.

Make sure you get one big enough for your needs, otherwise you will be cooking in many batches. Some are very small.

If you have an instant pot, I recommend getting a mealthy crisplid! It turns your IP into an air fryer and doesn't take up as much space. But also if you have access to an oven, just use that  save some cash!

Power Air Fryer Oven. Make your own rotisserie chicken, kebabs, dehydrated fruit, besides all the other typical stuff. ‘Fries’, pizza, frozen coconut shrimp, loads of options. Comes with suggestions and recipes

I haven't heard many good results from people trying the blooming onion recipes. Exciting thought but doesn't work well. I have a Philips xl and decided not to try that food from reviews.

I really like the instant pot vortex plus air fryer oven. It not onlt air fryes but does rotisserie. And makes the best chicken.

Look on YouTube for videos on AFs. Also you can go to Amazon and look at all the reviews for them to help you decide. As far as parts, anything that you can use in a regular oven can be used--if they are the right size. My suggestion would be to buy the biggest one you can to avoid cooking things in batches.

Air fryer cooks with hot air, basically you spray oil(cooking spray)on the food, and the hot air browns it without a lot of unnecessary fat. Most of the sprayed on oil burns off while cooking. Does a good job of cooking like fried, but not entirely the same so some things don’t work as well.

I have never sprayed cooking spray or oil on any of my food in my air fryer so you dont have to do that part and it still works amazing!

My only suggestion is to get as big of one as you can. there is only two of us here but I can cook an entire meal in mine because the size is good.
