I am usually full of advice and stay right on track no matter how bad the stress gets I take it for what it is and I don't sabotage myself. But then today I ate half a cake so my advice is do your best, but sometimes the stress will win. It doesn't matter as long as you win more often than the stress. Tomorrow I will be better. I will still have the same stressors. But I had my food tantrum and am much more capable of resisting the need to stress eat.

You can try what I do. Find healthy, low pt. snacks that you really really want. Then when you stress eat you desire to snack on the healthier things that you want. Like for example I like jello bc it’s sweet. When I’m having a rough time I want sweet foods. I just keep jello around and that helps a lot

When I was trying to quit smoking, I would get up and take a brisk walk - maybe 5 to 10 minutes, just until the craving passed. Might be worth a try!
