I have no energy, I have never felt like I have had it. My husband will wake up in the morning and be ready for the day. I feel like everything is a struggle. Any tips? Certain foods, vitamins, workouts? Thanks

When you get up in the morning eat high protein foods, eggs, lean meats and void carbs until later in the day. B vitamins will help as well.

It sounds like depression. I’ve dealt with it off and on for the last 16 years. I’ve done meditation which helped, but I don’t want to depend on medication. I worked on eating healthier thru WW and going to the gym doing cardio and getting to my goal weight. A lot of this has helped me. Take it one day at a time. Possibly seek therapy too.

Definitely go to the doctor like everybody said. Could be low thyroid. Also could be chronic fatigue syndrome? Also have you had a sleep study done? He may not be getting the sleep you think you’re getting. I have all of the above. But exercise definitely helps me, And meds. I hope that you can Get to the bottom of this.

Go to a Dr. You may be clinically depressed.

I understand, but doctors rarely treat for thyroid problems.

@norword85 not sure who you have seen in the past but you need to see an endocrinologist. If your blood counts are abnormal, they should treat with medication.

@offprint hi Mary. When I was having a problem I found out that the numbers that the GP goes by are different than what the Endocrinologist Association recommends for treatment. My numbers are all over the place. I feel sluggish everyday and just live with it.

It sounds like you need to be on meds to regulate your numbers. Who is refusing to treat it, your GP or endocrinologist? Whoever it is go to the other MD. The other odd thing is that all lab values are the same across the board so my guess is it is the MD's preference as to when they will treat or not.

@coquito3766 I knew I was anemic and did nothing about for about 6 mos by changing my diet. Had problems exercising dizzy and out of breath. Went for a routine dr apptmt and found out my hemoglobin was very, very low. Had to have iron infusions and now taking B12 weekly shots. Get it checked out. When was the last time u had bloodwork?

Quit eating foods with added sugar. Once the initial cravings go away you start gaining real energy

Have you discussed this with your doctor? You could have a high functioning depression. You might try light therapy (you can buy the lamps on Amazon)

Everyone is recommending B12 which is for pernicious anemia. Medicare only pays for B12 injections if the Stir the has a diagnosis of it.
