It will work just the same.
by (4.6k points)
Only differenc is you will be writing where the app all you do is scan but old school sometimes best

@blanche except the plans have changed quite a bit from the days of the points finders. So I wouldn't recommend it. None of the advice posted here would be applicable.

I get great ideas and recipes from this site as well as encouragement. I did WW 17 years ago and lost the only 30 pounds i needed to lose. Now after having a baby i have 50-60 to lose. Slimfast isnt cutting it so I'm going back to WW. I'm just not willing to pay a dime. Buying healthy food is breaking the bank as it is.
by (4.6k points)
You can always google what you should weigh an points an go from there on your finder
by (460 points)
@maniacal474 I completely understand what you mean about healthy food being expensive. That's why I'm not interested in paying for WW either. use the itrackbites app. Its basically the same thing and thats what I use and its free. There is a 25 upgrade option that you can do, but I skipped that as well and just use the free version to track my points. Its great! Hope this helps!
by (460 points)
I'm sorry its a 35 dollar upgrade option, and I think thats 35 dollars for the whole year. I didn't explore that much to know for sure, but the free is just as good!

You can read quite a bit about the program on the WW website, just google it. And that should help you decide if you want to actually join WW to get the app and other parts of the program.

Nothing is free.
by (3k points)
@seel7661 well. Some food you eat have 0 points, so it is free(watching the quantity anyway)
by (1.4k points)
@reisman it’s still not free because it has calories attached, so it still costs something, even if it’s points.

It's so worth is. the scan alone is awesome.
by (6.1k points)
@distress yes love the scanning option. food shopping never took so long but I can make my choices.
by (4k points)
@bad Yes, but we're learning so much about our bad habits, embracing zero point foods and the most nutrition, quantity and quantity for our points. I caved and bought Flaming Cheetos . but only ate a few. Haven't had junk food for 2 months. I so crave junk when I'm emotional. but we have smart points to catch us and a new day to restart our journey. Best of luck and all success to you.
