I just switched from meetings to just the app to maybe save some money. I feel that since October I just can’t seem to get my mind right to stay on the program. Is anyone else have or had the winter blues and what do you do to get past it to move forward?

I have both but it's only the meetings that help keep me motivated and accountable. I only use the app for the food scanner.

I use only the app/online and have lost 14 pounds since September 21st. Took October thru December off as my hubby had open heart surgery. Started back January 1st and was -1. 6 for last week. Monday is my weigh in day at home. Being committed to the plan and tracking everything (three weeks ago I had a -41 point week at the end of 7 days meaning I used all my dailies, weeklies AND 41 points more) but ANY loss is a good one. Make a true commitment and track everything even if you fall off the wagon like I did. The plan works if you work the plan. That’s how I get past the “OMG, I can’t do this’ll” frame of my mind. Good luck and much success to you!

I need to go to workshops, meet other folks going thru the same struggles I go thru and have accountability. It would be to easy for me to slide the other way by doing it online.

I never miss a workshop unless I'm out of town. That is the only way I have found to keep me on track. Once I start skipping meetings then it's all downhill.

@resplendent I attempted to do online only during the two years that we were fostering and adopting our son and I gained 20 lbs back. Once I went back to meetings, I made a resolution that I would never miss another meeting unless I was out of town for work or vacation. That was three years ago and I have missed fewer than 10 meetings in that time. I found the secret weapon for me. and I weigh in no matter if I think I'll like what the scale says or not. It's just a number and only one measure of success.

I wish you luck but I couldn’t do it without my group and leader

I'm thinking about doing the same. I feel like a fish out of water at the workshops.

I set a goal for myself. I have two weddings to go to in the next few months. I set a goal and my almost at the first one. That’s my focus and it’s a huge help!
