Does anyone still use the old "points finder" sliding calculator?

No because the programs are not assigning points to foods that way. However to each their own.

@pervious, yes I realize the plan has changed but it still helps me track some things.

@dumb843 I completely understand. The only thing is using that slider will give you low points for foods that are now higher in points because they base points now by: Calories Saturated fat Sugar Protein

@pervious the slider uses caloric count, fiber and protein.

I use mine all of the time. I do not have a smart phone, so this is the only way I can figure out points. I have lost 25 pounds and I track everything I eat and drink. I took my journal and had my group leader look it over and she said it was fine.

When I did was when I dropped the weight like water.

Yes. I wish they would give the old points as well as the new points.

I used all my stuff from back in the middle 90s that includes my point slider and I’ve lost 16 pounds since January 5 and ladies I’m 63! I count and write everything! I bite I write! Lol

Yup! I lost 85lbs in 8. 5 months (maintaining now for 5 months) using my mom's old WW stuff from the late 90's, slider and all :) I like it since you have to track everything, including fruit, so it keeps me accountable. My husband used an app that tracked calories and our days ended up very similar.

@coranto16, that's awesome, congratulations! I'm glad to know the "old stuff" still works. That's quite inspiring!

Wow! So you all don’t like the app? It seems so much easier than the old slide rule card.

I have about 8 of them in a drawer somewhere. I do not use them, there is no need. We have an app that does all the work for us. They have a program now that fits everyone.

@emergent the app is the WW app on your phone. When you sign up for WW you get the app for free. You choose which program you want and then the app will do the points for that program.
